The Reason Why Real Estate Agents Do Not Help You Find a Rental Property in Orlando
We get some leads for people looking to rent in Orlando, Florida, and there is nothing more we want to do than help people find a place to live, whether it's to buy or lease. The problem is the agents who are property managing and offering commission for lease or referral fees to agents are ridiculously low. You still need to show the property, pay for gas, get contracts and go through all the hoops to earn a commission, and usually, it's only a couple hundred dollars. Now a couple hundred is not bad, and I'll take it any day of the week, but let's take a look at this property, for example, on the MLS for rent for $4500/mo. A year lease on this property would be over $50 grand! You would think finding a lease of that size would make you some good money. You would be wrong. The lease fee and referral are $100 / $200.
So, if you don't see many realtors jumping at the chance to find you a place to lease, it's probably because of this. If you are looking to lease, we are still here to help ;) Contact us!
